The Milwaukee Brewers have done it, completing their first World Series championship in franchise history. Now, it's time to celebrate.
The Brewers will head back to Milwaukee to give fans a championship parade, something that those fans have done recently. This will be the first Milwaukee parade since 2021, when the Bucks won the NBA title, and the third since 2011, when the Green Bay Packers won their last Super Bowl.
This World Series run is historic, as the Brewers ended the postseason with an 11-2 record. Combine that with the team's 103 wins in the regular season, and this is certainly a season worth celebrating.
Here's a look at when and where the Brewers will be celebrating their title.
When is the Brewers World Series parade?
- Date: TBD
- Time: TBD
The Brewers have yet to set a date for their World Series parade, but it should happen sometime in the next week. The team will celebrate in St. Petersburg tonight before flying back to Milwaukee, where they will continue to celebrate with their fans.
Brewers World Series parade route
This will be the Brewers' first championship parade, so they don't have a predetermined route. However, a few other Milwaukee championships could give us an idea of what the route will be.
In 2021, when the Bucks won the NBA Finals, the team's parade began at the intersection of East Wisconsin Ave. and North Prospect Ave. From there, the team went west on East Wisconsin Ave., turned north onto North Water St. until it reached East Knapp St., and the parade ended at the Milwaukee River.
A Milwaukee championship parade usually congregates on Wisconsin avenue, so expect the Brewers' parade to do the same.
What is the weather forecast for the Brewers World Series parade?
It's too early to tell what the weather will be for the Brewers parade, considering the date hasn't been determined yet. However, the weather in Milwaukee at the end of October has been in the low-60s to mid-50s, and there is rain in the forecast for the next week.
