It's no surprise that when each team's 53-man rosters came out, the quarterback room for the Cleveland Browns got a lot of attention. The NFL has been talking about the Browns' quarterback situation during the entire offseason.

Of course, the Browns were pitting veteran Deshaun Watson against second-year player Shedeur Sanders in their offseason quarterback battle. Now, Watson will get the start, but there are still quarterbacks on this roster that want playing time, of course, and if Watson doesn't deliver, the Browns won't want for more signal-callers.

So, it's fitting that the team's biggest roster move has a lot to do with their quarterback room.

Browns' biggest roster move shakes up their quarterback room

ESPN has released a feature with of the biggest roster moves for each NFL team. For the Browns, it's all about their quarterbacks.

In the piece, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN says that the Browns taking their roster from four quarterbacks to three was a huge change, and what's interesting is that they did it without cutting or trading a signal-caller. What they did was put Dillon Gabriel on injured reserve. They also designated him to return, he notes.

"Gabriel injured his back in Cleveland's preseason-closing win against the Patriots on Thursday night, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter," Oyefusi adds in the piece. "Gabriel will miss at least the first four games of the season, but the designation could also give the Browns more time to find a trade partner."

So, the quarterbacks on the 53-man roster are Watson, Sanders and Taylen Green. All eyes will be on this crew in the fall.
