The 2026 season for the New York Jets, all things considered, hasn't gone terribly. While only 2-4, the Jets have shown the ability to hang around with good teams, and that's even been the case as they deal with some injury issues.
One of the biggest is the Breece Hall quad injury, which has kept him out for multiple weeks now. However, the Jets got some good news before Week 7 on Hall's injury.
As the Jets announced in their Thursday Week 7 practice injury report, the star running back was finally upgraded at practice, as he was no longer a DNP but instead listed as a "limited" participant.
Breece Hall upgraded at Jets practice in good news for Week 7
The Jets shared their Week 7 injury report for their game against the Miami Dolphins. Right in the middle of the injury report, Hall was seen with his quad injury as going from a "DNP" on Wednesday to a "LP" on Thursday.
What that means is that, for the first time in a while, Hall got in a limited practice, which bodes well for his chances of suiting up on Sunday against the AFC East rival Dolphins.
He isn't guaranteed to play this week, but getting in a limited practice, going from not participating on Wednesday to a limited participant on Thursday, is a sign that he's trending in the right direction.

Braelon Allen has handled the RB workload in his absence and has been great. While Hall will take over the backfield going forward, Allen should still see some work.
But for the Jets, the most important thing from this week's injury report is that Hall is back practicing and might actually be good to go for the first time since Week 3, when he ran for 32 yards against the Detroit Lions.
Jets fans should keep a very close eye on the Friday injury report, because if Hall's a full participant, he's as good as playing. But even another limited participation would indicate his work Thursday went well, and he'd have a chance to go in Week 7.
