6. "Buddy of mine (I wasn't there) had his bachelor party in Vegas and fucked a stripper. Then he fucked another stripper the next night. One of the guys who went on the trip with him WAS HIS FIANCÉES BROTHER!!! So when they get back home, the brother says I hope you had fun, but I have to tell my sister what you did."
"It was a whole thing, but the dude ended up not saying anything, so the brother told his sister (the fiancée) what happened. She married him anyway, and he ended up repeatedly cheating on her. Eventually, they got divorced."
7. "Not me, but a guy I used to work with. He and I were servers at a pretty well-known BBQ restaurant in SoCal. He was a really cool and kind guy. One day, he disappeared. He didn't show up for any of his shifts. One of my coworkers did a Google search, and lo and behold, an article from a Las Vegas news station popped up. He went on a robbery spree, mugged a couple of people on the strip, and got arrested. It turns out that he was dating one of the managers at the restaurant, stole her car, drove up to Vegas, and did all this. I still have no idea what caused him to go unhinged. I believe this happened around 2015. I can't find the article anymore, but I also believed it said he was being held on a $1 million bail."
8. "I went to Vegas for a wedding. We arrived at the venue, and instead of it being 30 minutes before the ceremony, we were waiting for nearly two hours. Eventually, we were ushered in, and the groom was there. Incredibly sweaty, he apologised and said he needed to buy a belt (because it's hard to shop in Vegas…) and lost track of time 🚩. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and the reception was a blast."
"I left them around 3 a.m. and got a huge burrito, and I passed out naked in my bathroom with said burrito. They, however, crawled back to their bridal suite. She jumped into bed and declared her love for him and their day. He told her he was not in love with her and hadn't been for a year. The next day, they started their three-week US tour with both their families. When they got home to Australia, she found emails with his affair partner from their wedding day, threatening to leave if he went through with the marriage. They're happily divorced now."
9. "Not long out of law school, I was in court for a case against an opposing counsel with whom I had gone to law school, and her paralegal. I had met the paralegal once just in passing. I lost and exchanged pleasantries with both women, then headed to the airport for a family member's Vegas wedding. That night, we finished the rehearsal dinner at the Venetian, and I went walking around, just people watching, doing a little gambling, and drinking. I headed back to my room at the Bellagio and heard my name sort of screeched. I spun, and it was the opposing counsel's paralegal, and she was sprinting at me. She threw her arms around me. She, too, was in Vegas for her sister's wedding and left court for the airport. We chatted, then I headed up to my room as she and her bridesmaid friends were going out. At 3 a.m., there was a knock. I opened the door and it was her."
"She walked in, kicked off her heels, and just crawled into my bed, curled up, and was out. I covered her up and took the other bed. At 7 a.m. or so, I woke up to the sound of my shower. There was a black dress, thigh highs, and underwear in a pile on my floor. I picked them up, folded them, and lay back down. She came out in a towel a few minutes later and sat on the bed. I asked her if she remembered how she got there, and she said yes. She had gone out and they got drunk as fuck, and she doesn't drink nearly at all. She was beyond incoherent. They got to some bar, and the girls took off without her. One had her phone because she was checking something. She had no idea where she was and couldn't even remember her hotel, as she was rooming with her cousin, who booked it. But she remembered seeing me at Bellagio. She took off walking, followed the fountains, and ended up there. She talked the front desk lady into giving her my room number, and there she was. She thanked me for letting her crash and not asking questions. Then she asked for a favor — if she could borrow a shirt, shorts, and pool shoes and bum an Uber back to her hotel. So I got her downstairs, with some coffee, and in her car.
I got home several days later and back to work. On my desk in a FedEx box with my shirt, shorts, shoes, was a $50 bill and a 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas' cheesey shirt with a note that said she appreciated everything along with info on reservations at a restaurant and her number.
And that dinner was my ex-wife and my first date.
We were together 15 years, married for 11. Handling my early career work and stress, and us managing her early life trauma and mental illness issues wrong just didn't work. But she's since remarried, healthy, and happy. And I couldn't wish for anything more for her."
10. "I got dumped by a girl I thought was 'the one.' In my despair, I hopped in the car and drove to Vegas. No plan, no room, very little money. On the first night there, I met a girl on the same boat who looked like Sarah Michelle Gellar. We spent four days wandering about and doing decadent and debaucherous things. Before we parted ways, we got matching tattoos, nothing significant, just a silly little symbol. This was before social media; she scribbled her name and number on a piece of paper, and I lost it. That was 26 years ago. I don't even remember her name, but we had a hell of a time, and I still have a silly little tattoo."
19. "I went on a guys' trip. We had a blast doing all the usual stuff. At some point, we rolled into a strip club during the afternoon, and we were about the only ones in there, so the girls all mobbed us. I'm pretty cynical but damned if a gorgeous 6' tall tattooed stripper didn't take an immediate liking to me (5'10"). I even said, 'Hey, you should meet my friend R (6'4) over here, I think you'd like him,' but she didn't budge from my side. Anyway, she proceeded to take her top off and give me an extended lap dance in the public area, all while telling me how hot I was and the nasty things she wanted to do to me. I didn't even think about the Nokia phone in my pocket. While she was grinding on me, the phone dialed the last called number, a girl I was dating back home, and left a three-minute voicemail."
"Now we had only hung out a few times and in my mind it wasn't serious, she wasn't even the only one, but she thought we were in a relationship and she was PISSED. Anyway, I figured in for a penny, in for a pound, so I extended my trip for a day to bang this stripper. It was glorious."
23. A guy I knew went on a bachelor party years back. He was the youngest attendee, having just turned 21. He took a relatively small amount of money to gamble with, but blew ALL his money in the first couple of days. One of the older guys offered to spot him for the third gambling night. He went on a wild blackjack run and walked away with close to a quarter million dollars. He went on to have an absolute ball the last two days, you name it; fancy watch, designer clothes, and VIP access courtesy of the casino. He went wild and when he got back to the UK with £150k ish, was threatened by the guy that lent him the money that he'd 'tell his family' or something like that if he didn't give him half, despite the fact some of his immediate family were actually on the trip."
"Mr. Bankroll got a good chunk of change but was told to get fucked after that. Anyway, the dude slept with a bottle girl, having taken a fair amount of party favours. He got an STI and got his brother in shit for 'not looking after him.'"
24. "I got a little wild and thought I'd have a wild Vegas night after a long conference…I ended up going a little TOO wild and gave some guys (lanyards from said conference and all) a 'private' dance (needless to say I was really vibing, lol)."
"Well, some extra guests popped in. One was a newly hired (but more senior) employee from our firm. I laughed it off immediately, but somehow ended up in his direction during the panties dance (what I called it). We ended up sharing his keycard and swore to keep it secret. Now, he held up his end of the bargain, but about three weeks later, my blabber mouth blurted out how big he was. I had to backtrack with 'I heard,' but there were no buyers. No one pressed too much, honestly, until a holiday party months later. After a few drinks, it came out, and everyone was pretty respectful, thankfully."
25. "At EDC LV in 2019, one of the people I was with was new to going to raves and festivals and wanted to try everything. I was happy to show him the ropes and made some recommendations. We got to the festival, and he was having a blast, and then someone else in the group gave him a bump of coke. And then another, and another, and so it went for the rest of the night. The next day, he decided he wanted to do more, so he managed to find a dealer and got a couple of eight balls. It was the same deal the next day, because he burned through his baggies. The guy turned into someone who consistently did coke after that weekend and ended up losing his job since he was a government contractor. Several months later he went to rehab and got his shit sorted, but it was wild to see someone go from zero to 100 with an addiction in real time."
27. "I was in the Venetian playing roulette with my wife. In walks this crowd of drunk early twenties frat guys. I quickly picked up that it was one guy's 23rd birthday, and he was down to his last $100. He puts it on black. It hits! Now he's got $200 and wants to walk away, but his friends are egging him on, so he lets it ride. Hits again! Now he has $400. The table is growing loud as he lets it ride again…$800! At this point, stuff is getting exciting. He puts the $800 on red and…it hits again! $1600! Now it's getting really loud, and the other frat guys are all like, 'Just let it ride, dude!' This guy puts the $1600 on #23. I think that was higher than the table max because the pit boss came over to approve it (and obviously approved it). I covered my face with my hands; I knew what it would feel like to lose a free $1600 as a 23-year-old and was picturing the devastation. The wheel spins and…23."
"It was a $56,000 payout if I remember correctly. Let me tell you, that table was friggin pandemonium! They did leave after that and, I presume, had a fun night."
28. "We were doing a bachelor weekend - duh. One of our friends was walking through the casino, and a random older woman grabbed him and kissed him. She took him back to her room, and they got right down to it. He was going at it and all of a sudden he looks up and sees a dude sitting in a chair in the shadows. So my boy stops and says WTF. She says, 'Don't worry, he loves this.' So he goes back to work (pretty sure I'd have noped out)."
"We all called bullshit, but we ran into her the next morning with her husband at breakfast and they had a whole conversation about what had transpired the night before. It was a wild conversation."
30. "Guy I worked with went to Vegas with his buddies (we are in the UK). He recounted this tale to me on his return. One of them hits it off with a woman widely presumed to be a sex worker, and they disappear off to his room. The following morning, there's no sign of him at breakfast, and as the day goes on, they get a bit concerned as nobody can get hold of him. They call the police, hospitals — nothing. Later that evening, their buddy shows up, and he's been in the hospital."
"It turns out there was some sort of altercation in the hotel room which resulted in the guy getting the shit kicked out of him. No payment? Pimp? I don't know, but apparently there was blood everywhere. Anyway, he says the casino had called him an ambulance and he had been booked under 'Trauma Fred,' which is why they couldn't locate him. They headed back to his hotel room, and it had been cleaned like nothing even went down there. Apparently, this sort of thing is bad for business, so the casinos go to great lengths to deal with these things with discretion and minimal fuss."
32. "My buddy got banned from the Sphere. Because it is owned by MSG, he is banned from all their properties, including Madison Square Garden, Radio City, and the Chicago Theater. So that shit ain't staying in Vegas."
"He was very drunk and had bought a fake ticket to see Phish. In his drunken state, he thought he could just sneak past one of the ticket takers at the door. Las Vegas PD disagreed. They scanned his face and gave him a letter saying that he is banned."
33. "It's kinda a real-life How I Met Your Mother story. It was a 2010 Bachelor party with five dudes. On the second night, we hired a few strippers to visit us at the house we rented. Both were 10/10 and great at keeping the party going. I took a liking to one of them, and she seemed to reciprocate (but I'm paying and she has to). About two hours in, one of our guys had disappeared. I went upstairs to find him passed out in bed. As I was leaving the suite, the stripper was there. She made a pass at me. She wanted to take a shower together. I asked how much. She said to put something extra in the tip. So to the shower we went. Ten minutes later, the whole party burst into the bathroom to see us going at it."
"We called it a night a few hours later. I woke up to a text from her asking how long we were staying. She wanted to get together the next day. I was thinking boy, am I sucker and how much is this going to cost me (maybe a kidney). I ditched the guys and went to hang out. She paid for dinner, and we had a few drinks before she went to work. We texted through most of the night. The guys were eating it up.
We flew out the next day around noon. She and I went to brunch. There was clear chemistry, but I was still skeptical. A few months later, I'd visited Vegas a few times, ended my relationship, and seemed to be dating her. I still don't have 100% confidence/belief in everything, but the trips to Vegas were fun...we got into every club, etc.
Fast forward 15 years, and we've been married for 12. We have two planned kids together. She moved to my city about a year after we met. She didn't want to dance anymore; she said it was a phase and made the money she needed to make. She got a job until we had kids and became a stay-at-home mom.
She's never looked back. We dabbled in OF, but she really didn't embrace it like she thought she would. So now she lives a normal life, is involved in the school/community, and runs a small online business.
Suffice it to say, we don't tell people how we met. We say it was at a Vegas conference. And the guys are sworn to secrecy. I suspect they have told their wives, but it's so far in the past that no one cares.
So what happened in Vegas finally left Vegas and became my wife."
35. "My ex insisted on a bachelorette in Vegas before our wedding. I get a panicked call from her sister in the middle of the night that they lost her (my ex) because she drank too much and became belligerent. She went off with two of her bridesmaids, who also were not answering their phones, and the short of it is that those two friends hooked up with random strangers from Vegas that night. My ex claimed she had nothing to do with it, which I believed at the time, but came to realize I was fooling myself. Well, those two friends were both in long-term committed relationships that ended when their Vegas antics were revealed."
"The rest of the bridal party wouldn't speak to my ex for years after this fiasco because of the fallout. My ex somehow held me responsible for the outcome because I rallied the troops — her sisters and the remaining non-drunk or non-cheating bridal party members — to find them, and called all the nearby hotels and venues where I thought they might be. When I finally found them, they were in the wrong hotel having a stand-off with security, which I successfully de-escalated from 3,000 miles away."
37. "My wife knew this married couple who were just full of drama. Both narcissistic, attention-seeking, putting it all out there on Facebook. Anyway, the wife went to buy groceries one day and found no money in her account. She checked their bank statements and discovered that their bank account had been emptied by not one, but two trips to that bunny ranch in Nevada. Her husband said he was going on a weeklong business trip in Vegas. Turns out their credit cards were maxed out as well. When she confronted her husband about this, he first blamed her, saying that she didn't make him feel special when he was leaving for his 'business trip' by not making him a cake. Next, she found out that he didn't like her feet, and that he went to a brothel and spent all of their money on sex workers giving him foot jobs."
"So yeah, they got divorced. And the kicker was that she was responsible for half of their debt. So after their divorce, she is still paying for his little week-long trip to Vegas."
40. "I was getting semi-serious with a girl I had known since HS, and she invited me to a trip to Vegas with all her girls. After a fun opening night, the girl I was talking to lost her ID on the first night, so she decided to go back home. I stayed. First mistake, lol. Well, a good pool party, loud music, alcohol, and 100-degree weather…I ended up hooking up with two of her girls at the same damn time. It was pretty effortless as they prompted it, and I gladly accepted. I was never confronted by the main girl regarding the situation, but gee, did her friend drag my name through mud to make me look as bad as possible. Fast forward to today, everybody has moved on, but I sometimes regret it. Oh well, life goes on."
42. "We went out there with some friends from Riverside and stayed at the Circus Circus. On our last night, a mutual friend made it his mission to procure himself a sex worker. So with no phone on him at all, he took off to the strip at like 3 a.m. Morning came, and nobody could get hold of him. On the drive back, my homie got a call from him. Apparently, he'd found a sex worker who gave him a $200 hand job, and of course, he didn't have a dime to pay for it. So the woman's pimp took his truck for collateral and he was freaking out. Eventually, he called his mom to wire him money, but she couldn't do it until the next day, so he had to stay out there in Vegas for the night."
"The next morning, he got the money sent and drove back to Riverside. We were still there at a friend's house, so we told the other guy to come through. When he got there, he explained the whole story. At the end someone asked him, 'So you paid 200 bucks for a handjob, got held against your will, threatened by a pimp, and missed a day of work you couldn't, so you lost your job?' 'Yeah.' 'Was it worth it? Losing all that stuff?' He looked at me like I was from outer space and went, 'Wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world.'"
