You'll hardly need me to tell you that those people raise a very good point. It's way more common and socially accepted for men in heterosexual relationships to date and marry women who are significantly younger than they are. And while some people do call it out, it's fair to say that these couples face far less scrutiny than those like Nick and Priyanka.

To put it into perspective, a 10+-year age gap in a celebrity relationship where the man is older would barely make anyone bat an eyelid. One user even demonstrated this by pointing out that there's an A-list couple whose big age gap rarely ever gets discussed — and that's Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
