All is well for the Pistons just in time for the start of the NBA preseason.

Detroit finalized the long-awaited contract extension with Jalen Duren late last week, with the five-year, $200 million deal ensuring a key piece of the team that went 60-22 last season is in the fold for this year and beyond. Now it's time to turn the focus to the court.

The Pistons open preseason play Monday at home against the Suns, who have a healthy Jalen Green to look forward to along with newcomers Miles Bridges and hometown rookie Koa Peat.

Devin Booker remains the key cog for Phoenix, with Cade Cunningham playing the same role in Detroit. Entering his sixth season, Cunningham is the unquestioned go-to player for the Pistons, and it remains to be seen whether he'll have enough help from the supporting cast to avoid another disappointing early playoff exit.

That's a long way off, though. The journey starts with the preseason, and here's how you can watch Monday's game.
