Dodgers’ Mookie Betts outlines how difficult going back-to-back-to-back will be for Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to defend their title, searching to go back-to-back-to-back. If the Dodgers win the World Series, it would undoubtedly be one of the most dominant stretches in Major League Baseball history.

If this happens, fans could even say the Dodgers put together the most impressive run in baseball history. However, winning three in a row is no easy task, and even winning one is difficult enough.

Just ask other teams in baseball that have faced the Dodgers recently how difficult things are, and they'll be very honest.

While Los Angeles has been able to win games at a very high level, it was also just a couple of feet away from not beating the Toronto Blue Jays last season.

The guys in the clubhouse recognize how difficult it is to win it all, despite the talent on both sides of the baseball. That includes Mookie Betts, who recently spoke about the chances of doing it again.

“You dream of winning one and once you win one, it's like, realistically, the chances of winning again are very very slim. So, being able to, we've got a good group of guys that we've been able to put together a few of them, so it's a blessing,” Betts told Jim Hill of Sports Central LA, H/T Clutch Points.

As a multi-time World Series champion with the Dodgers and Boston Red Sox, Betts knows what it takes to win in October.

He also understands that if the Dodgers don't come out and play perfect baseball, other playoff squads will take advantage.

It'll be interesting to see how the Dodgers react to some of the adversity they could face, though it still feels safe to say they're the heavy favorites entering October.
