On Monday night, the Golden State Warriors are slated to finish off their back-to-back matches with a game against the Phoenix Suns. Monday night's affair finds the Warriors in the midst of a four-game win streak, with their most recent triumph coming against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
An important factor in their win against the Clippers is that it came without Stephen Curry, who missed the match due to right knee injury management. When he's not on the court, it leaves Steve Kerr and the rest of Golden State's lineup with a 29.2-point hole to make up. But rookie Yaxel Lendeborg led the charge for the Warriors, dropping 37 points and six assists.
However, it doesn't appear that Kerr will need Lendeborg to lead things again, as they're set to regain their leading scorer on Monday night.
Curry to return against the Suns
The Warriors will get Steph Curry and Draymond Green back tonight vs Suns. Al Horford is resting on second night of back-to-back. Gui Santos out. Brandon Williams questionable with a quad contusion. Phoenix has main cogs available besides Mark Williams.
— Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) November 2, 2026As reported by ESPN's Anthony Slater, Curry will be among the players to return to the Warriors' lineup on Monday night, with the other notable name being Draymond Green, who missed out on Sunday's match due to a similar reason as his championship-winning co-star: injury management.
Tip-off between Golden State and Phoenix is slated for 10:00 p.m. EST.
